Taken as is from the bug report (#779311 ), just added a comment
about the symbolic constants that are missing in 3.16.
Verified that the three patches match the indicated upstream commits

Enable PSTORE as built-in and EFI_VARS_PSTORE as module.
Auto-load efivars and efi-pstore:
- Replace features/all/efi-autoload-efivars.patch with the version
that was committed upstream, which is not x86-specific.
- Add a separate patch to make efi-pstore auto-load, as this was not
included in the upstream commit.

phy-xgene is needed for ahci_xgene not the Ethernet driver, so place in

Update x32 syscall patch to block system calls >= 512 by default
...
System calls from x32 tasks are distinguished by having bit 30 set,
but they share the system call table with x86_64 so where parameter/
return value adjustment is needed there is a difference in the low
bits too. The x32-specific calls are numbered from 512 and of course
are not present in the table if the kernel doesn't support x32.
This means we need to change both the maximum syscall number and the
mask instruction.
