Juro Bystricky e4a4c9b1ac bitbake: bitbake-user-manual-fetching.xml: note about URLs with semi-colons
Some URLs contain semi-colons. Unfortunatelly, bitbake uses semi-colons in SRC_URI
as delimiters for various parameters.
It may still be possible to use such URLs, providing the user replaces semi-colons ';'
with '&' characters.

For example:

   http://abc123.com/git/?p=gcc/gcc.git;a=snapshot;h=a5dd47

 and

   http://abc123.com/git/?p=gcc/gcc.git&a=snapshot&h=a5dd47

should be equivalent, as W3C recommends treating ';' in queries identically to '&'.

See http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/appendix/notes.html#h-B.2.2

Kudos to Olof Johansson

Richard Purdie 69b6919341 bitbake: bitbake: Add explict getVar param for (non) expansion
Rather than just use d.getVar(X), use the more explict d.getVar(X, False)
since at some point in the future, having the default of expansion would

This patch was mostly made using the command:

Scott Rifenbark 34f4a9d8b7 bitbake: user-manual-execution.xml: Updated "Checksum (Signatures) section.
Fixes [YOCTO #5357]

Added a paragraph at the end of this section to address the fact
that the user can now debug Bitbake's processing of signatures.
This introduces the -S bitbake option and the fact that the
user can provide a couple parameters with it: "none" and
"printdiff".

Scott Rifenbark c0a13d21cf bitbake: user-manual-metadata.xml: Sections to handle variable setting added.
Fixes [YOCTO #5507]

I provided further explanation in the "Basic Variable Setting"
section to note that trailing and leading blanks are not stripped
from a value when set (e.g. VARIABLE = " value").

I added a new section "Null and Blank Setting" explaning that setting
a variable to "" and " " are two different things.
